Good to know
Can it replace our booking software?
Yes, that's what it's for: the salon's calendar, each stylist's hours, services and prices, every client's history and the text reminders. It doesn't take payments yet, so keep your terminal for checkout.
How is HairSync different from Fresha, Vagaro or Square?
Those apps are built for every kind of appointment business, and they earn from marketplaces, card fees or add-ons. HairSync is only for hair salons: processing time on the calendar, every formula on the visit, each client's usual length. One price per stylist, nothing else to buy.
Can clients book online?
No, on purpose. The same appointment can take 90 minutes for one client and three hours for another, and clients guess low. Your team books, with the client's past visits in front of them.
How do the text reminders work?
A day before, at the same time, each client gets a text with the salon, the day and the time, and your number to change it. First-time clients also get a link to confirm; until they tap it, the appointment shows Not confirmed. Reply STOP and they never get another. Every reminder is included in the $20 per stylist.
Where do the color formulas go?
On the visit. Every note has its own formula field, so the shades, developer, ratio and timing stay with that visit, next to its photos and price. Anyone in the salon can open the client and see the last formula, whoever mixed it.
